Born from one of the oldest Morazham clans, Tark has since expanded into the commercial market as a major producer of all manner of construction and material goods and related equipment, and prides itself on a long and stable history within commerce able to date itself to the early information-age with mining and magical construction being added to their repertoire, as well as creating various heavy military hardware built upon the structural and material designs of many construction vehicles. Tark has inserted themselves into the lives of the average person through the world around them, as their company is responsible for a large percentage of corporate construction and provision of materials for large projects from megastructures and office buildings, to major roads and city walls. They are the primary designer of plascrete, as well as a number of other difficult to produce resources, making a great deal of funds from the patenting of their manufacturing processes by other corporations large and small.
Tark Consortium has traditionally maintained a Morozham clan organisational structure, where a single person is responsible for coordination and direction more than primary leadership, with a heavy emphasis on deferred responsibility.
The current matron of Tark Consortium is Kan-Raza Tark, having only recently taken over from the previous matron Mirka Tark whom had led the organisation for 40 years. Kan-Raza's inexperience has been a focal point of competitive media, however her personal experience in material sciences and contributions have provided some defence to her appointment.
Easily recognised by their usage of heavy vehicles even in urban areas, Tark's corposec forces are made predominantly of life-time members of Clan Tark with a majority of them being Morazham. They utilise tried and true equipment with proven histories rather than newer technologies, favouring standard ballistic weaponry and defensive rather than aggressive tactics such as barricades, road-blocks, spike strips, and for personal combat a heavy usage of ballistic shields. Many argue that the CSS are easy to avoid in theory, however places they operate often heavily utilise defensive architecture that favours those that know the area well, with many defensible chokepoints and means of restricted egress to permit their personnel and equipment to head off interlopers.
Tark's primary HTR service, the Iron League are made solely of combat veterans with extensive training - their selection criteria requires at a minimum of twelve years of experience in an infantry or armed security role, with a gruelling selection process that has often resulted in zero successful candidates. Those that pass however are provided speciality equipment - and a number of augmentations, most notable of which are a combination of highly restricted dermal armour and bone lacing utilising confidential materials. Such resultant durability lends to many myths of their invulnerability, emboldened by their training with melee weapons that are often used in dense environments, undeterred by gunfire and cyberweapons as they charge opponents directly.
