The most populous of the Beastfolk, Ma'uzzur are a diverse collection of anthromorphic feline humanoids taking their traits from the various Great Cats. With economical physiques built for survival, hunting, and predatory behaviour they are Agune's only native, expansive civilised species.\n\n## Physical Characteristics

Specific traits of Ma'uzzur vary based on their lineage as they manifest traits of the various Great Cats, all share a common nature of being obligate carnivores and possessing builds that even in their most decadent specimens, are trained and honed for the hunt. All Ma'uzzur possess digitigrade legs and a physique that grants them enhanced speed, but low mass for their given strength.

Mental Characteristics

Ma'uzzur psychology similarly varies slightly based on their lineage, though at least bears more consistencies. Ma'uzzur often alternate between more severe states of energy and relaxation, a developmental side-effect of their physiology lending to many Ma'uzzur becoming crepuscular in their routines.

Magical Characteristics

Manablooded Ma'uzzur are rare, forming only 1:700 individuals at most, and can be identified by consistent polydactyl features across both paws and hands. As a result of this more extrusive manifestation of manabloodedness, some less savoury cultures have come to treating polydactyl traits in both regular felines and Ma'uzzur as a grim collectors item or lucky charm.
